Alderman Fenwick’s House continues to thrive with both side tunnels developed into fantastic onsite Caffes, offering quality food and refreshments with both sit in and takeaway options.

During Alderman Fenwick’s early life as a Merchant House, the North & South Tunnel served as a conduit for horse drawn carriages to transport goods from the dock of the Tyne to the store.
Unused for many years, the South Tunnel has been brought back to life as recreational space, delivering delicious coffee via a street front kiosk & café, serving onto Pilgrim Street.
This partnership with the local coffee specialist, Caffe Ginevra, means that passers-by can now indulge in its trademark Sicilian-style coffee, home-made gelato and freshly-made cannoli from 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday, and 8am to 3pm on Saturdays.

Located within the historic North Tunnel of Alderman Fenwick’s House, Flat Six Coffee Roasters is the newest go-to spot for tenants and corporate employees working in the offices at Alderman Fenwick House, Spire, and the surrounding area. Opening Times
Flat Six Coffee Roasters is open from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, and on Saturdays from 10 AM to 3 PM. These convenient hours make it an ideal destination for a morning coffee run, a mid-day break, or an afternoon pick-me-up.
